Bowl Games Part Three
Senior Prospect Tracker

January 21st 2012
andrew luck What can be said about Stanford QB Andrew Luck? 27-31-347-2 TD and 1 INT in a huge game against Oklahoma State. He does all the pre-snap reads – can audible and was very comfortable with defenders in his face and his ability to go through his progressions is simply elite. The Colts should just submit their pick now... ( full article )

Bowl Games Part One
Senior Prospect Tracker

doug martin Many people don't like these early Bowl games, but try telling that to the Louisiana-Lafayette players and fans as they pulled out a last second win. These games also offer the chance for draftable players to show up big when the pressure is really on... ( full article )

coby fleener Against Notre Dame Coby Fleener really showed what he offers as a receiver. Matched up against a safety in man coverage he ran a nice double move and on a slick field, the safety slipped and he had a 55 yard TD... ( full article )

Crunch time draws near
Senior Prospect Tracker Wk 11

November 18th 2011
After impressing last week, Audie Cole gets another chance to impress – or will there be a letdown? Also another chance for Alabama NT Josh Chapman to impress, something he's failed to do to date. Paul Emery continues his look at the senior class of 2011... ( full article )

First round Penncilled in
Senior Prospect Tracker Wk 9

November 1st 2011
devon still At times Penn State DT Devon Still was simply unblockable. Illinois even tried doubling him, but he was still able to make plays. Just as I was thinking he was looking tired late in the game he got penetration and made a tackle for loss. Stills looks like a sure fire first round pick... ( full article )

Quick release
Senior Prospect Tracker Wk 7

October 18th 2011
kirk cousins Michigan State QB Kirk Cousins has impressed me more than any other senior QB so far this year and he did nothing to hurt his stock against Michigan. He made good decisions, throwing away two passes which perhaps he may have forced in the past... ( full article )

The Wright stuff
Senior Prospect Tracker Wk 5

kendall wright Baylor WR Kendall Wright had a fantastic day against Kansas State with 9 catches for 201 yards and 3 TD's adding to the 40 catches he already has on the season... ( full article )

Flashes of a first round pick
Senior Prospect Tracker Wk 3

September 22nd 2011
brandon thompson Clemson DT Brandon Thompson was used in a 3 man front at times against Auburn and looked very comfortable in this role. He flashed a very quick get off – indeed very good for such a big man. He has a good motor and again for a big man makes plays chasing from the backside... ( full article )

keenan robinson Texas OLB Keenan Robinson is one of my favourite players this year and watching him two days after Zach Brown was interesting, with my impressions of Brown very fresh in my mind. Quite simply I would take Robinson over Brown every single time and indeed I'd be happy to spend a first round pick on him... ( full article )

Who Can Stop The Pack?
Senior Prospect Tracker Wk 14

ben jones It seems that thoughout last year and for much of this Georgia C Ben Jones has been over extended himself and thus been off balance, however against LSU he did a good job of being patient and thus under control... ( full article )

Tackle eligible
Senior Prospect Tracker Wk 12

November 23rd 2011
kelechi osemeled The only limitation of Iowa State OT Kelechi Osemele is his foot speed, but I think a power team will find he fits at Tackle and he could sneak into the back end of the first round depending on which juniors come out early... ( full article )

Louisiana-Lafayette's Ladarius' Leap
Senior Prospect Tracker Wk 10

November 10th 2011
When I saw Green earlier in the year he was still slowed by a knee injury and as such I didn't come away impressed. Seeing him again this week was completely different, he looked very athletic and made one very nice high catch above a DB – managing to come down from a high point catch, keep his balance and get into the end zone... Cousins Progressing
Senior Prospect Tracker Wk 8

October 28th 2011
kirk cousins Michigan State QB Kirk Cousins threw 22-31, 290 yards and 3 TD's with the big win on ABC's big game of the week. He's the best senior at going through his progressions and still my number one rated QB... ( full article )

Athletic ability
Senior Prospect Tracker Wk 6

October 15th 2011
Lavonte David Nebraska OLB Lavonte David flashed his athletic ability in this game with some nice plays. However, he also had some negative plays as Ohio State confused him with some mis-direction plays in the running game. He took too many false steps on these runs and took himself out of quiet a few runs – including giving up the edge on a big gain. In coverage however, it was all very positive. He was responsible for the FB or TE and did a really nice job. He's a 4-3 weakside LB who is going to need to be kept clean, so would suit someone like the Eagles who have some bigger bodies at DT... Senior Prospect Tracker Wk 4

2012 Senior Bowl Review
NCAA Scouting

January 30th 2012
bobby wagner Utah State's Bobby Wagner separated himself from the crowded weakside LB class at the weigh in (241 lbs) and made a standout play in practice being very physical with Chris Polk in coverage and blowing up the route. In the game he was very good, he had an interception, a pass breakup, a tackle for loss on a screen and two tackles on special teams... ( full article )

2012 Underclassmen

January 30th 2012
Robert Griffin III This is a record breaking junior class numbers wise and certainly there is some much needed star power added to the top of the Draft. However there are some of these juniors who may not even get drafted… It's easy to say for these guys that it's a mistake coming out early, but they may need the money or just have had enough of college life and be ready to move on...
