Q. How have you found it here in London this week?
A. It’s been really exciting to be here, it’s an honour to bring American Football over here.
Q. How different has the week been to how it would have been over in the States?
A. I don’t see much difference, we haven’t done anything different other than getting our bodies used to the time, that’s been the biggest difference. At home you can catch your rest get massages you know, and here you gotta know when to sleep and when to wake up.
Q. Teams have come here in the past and they have said it’s like a training camp and it has brought the team together, has that been the same for the 49ers this week?
A. I think we have, we have bonded more this week than we would have if we were at home. I’m not saying we don’t get together at home, but here you’re in the same hotel and you are around each other all day.
Q. It’s a huge game for both teams, particularly the 49ers who were tipped to do well in the NFC this year. With only one win, you have to get a result here?
A. Most definitely. You’re right, this is about winning and winning the rest of our games and this is the first of many that we have to win, but now, we’re just concentrating on this one.
Q. You go into this game with a new quarterback in Troy Smith...
A. We’re behind Troy all the way, we have confidence that he can go out there and get the job done. I’m excited and we’re all excited about seeing him go out there and perform.
Q. Is everyone excited about playing at Wembley too?
A. We are man! We’re all excited about playing, it’s something to take with you that you can say you played at Wembley.
Q. Do you like the whole idea of playing overseas, is it a good thing?
A. There’s nothing like being and playing at home, but this is an experience of a lifetime, some guys have never been out of the country before, so this is an experience for us. We’re gonna take it and get a win so we can go back comfortably.
Q. What about the Denver Broncos, they’ll be very motivated after their defeat last weekend?
A. Honestly man, Denver is going to be who they are and coming here with the mindset thing that we’re a team that’s not doing well as far as record wise, they’ll be looking to get even against us. But it’s not going to be easy at all you know, we’re gonna come out ready to play.
Q. What’s Coach Singletary like to play for?
A. He’s a lot of fun to play for, a very enthusiastic coach, he believes in his players and we believe in him. It’s an honour to come out and play for a guy who has played the game and is arguably one of the greatest players to have played the game.
