Further Q&A with 49ers' S Dashon Goldson
by Brian Davis
October 29th 2010

dashon goldson Q. Kyle Orton is a big factor in this game, what are your concerns with Brandon Lloyd and the receivers there?

A. Well Brandon Lloyd is a good receiver, he’s shown that to a lot of teams and shown up on a lot of film. He’s one of the leading receivers out there - we just got to get our hands on him and make plays, we’re definitely going to have our hands full with him and Eddie Royal

Q. How are you looking to deal with the Tebow threat on Sunday?

A. We’re gonna do pretty good man. We don’t think he’s gonna get us on our game, but we know he’s a good player and they can do different things with him, so it’s important for us that we have to shut him down.

Q. Denver brings an explosive passing offense on Sunday, how are the 49ers going to shut that down?

A. We gotta be disciplined on defense. We’ve watched a lot of film, so we have a good idea of what they’re gonna do on Sunday, so we just got to go out there and get turnovers.

Q. Do you think you guys have an advantage having been out here all week, practicing in the wet and slippery conditions, whereas the Broncos are only arriving today?

A. I hope so! I think it’s definitely going to help, I don’t know if they know what the conditions are, but the time difference was the biggest thing for us, but everybody has their legs back and back on track now with that.

Q. Looking forward to playing in front of an International audience and at Wembley?

A. Oh definitely, yeah!
